I am seeing the same behaviour for all “Deisgned for iPad” builds, even with the most recent Xcode version. Is there any update on this?

It seems that adding buttons is currently only possible in the "extended" dynamic island view, but not in the live activity of the lock screen itself. I would like to see Apple let us add more gestures / interactions though.
